Perfect to the last pixel

I pride myself on simple, clean and believable shots.

With over 20 years of Photoshop experience, I have been a certified WACOM PRO-ARTIST since 2007. A sharp eye for details, I deliver hyper realistic results by respecting shadows and highlights, depth and perspective, focus, tonality and grain.

Enhance my my ability to produce better results, faster.

Although I've been manipulating my own negative scans in Photoshop circa 2000, I've officially been retouching "commercial work" since 2010, either in house for other photographers as their assistant or off the map as a freelancer.

Most of what I do involves detailed cutout work, composite work, un-wrinkling clothes or faces, erasing logos and cleaning up random stuff in the background, spotting, adjusting light and tonality, etc... I can do nearly anything anybody requires, outside of deep CGI.

Unfortunately, most of my photo retouching contracts are bound by Non-Disclosure Agreements. Not many photographers are comfortable posting before-and-after shots revealing their raw work. If you would like to see more samples, feel free to drop me a line.

PRODUCTS
case study:
MASK BACKGROUND

More companies are shooting their products themselves in-house as it streamlines the process from fabrication to shipping. Once the shots are done, my Photoshop skills allow clients to focus on their core business.

One such example is *Strandberg headless guitars, based out of Sweden. Working on the Cloud, I take care of meticulous product masking, colour calibration, alignment and canvas placement. The end result is dozens of consistent transparent images ready to be uploaded to the client's e-commerce website, placed on any background.

Corporate
case study:
match backgrounds

These portraits were taken on different backgrounds, on different days. The client needed all photos to match a dark panel like this, while extending the canvas to a 9:16 vertical format.

Composite Assembly
case study:
400% more dogs

The client's original request was simple enough: (1) remove the people in the background; (2) move the dogs to the right.

Oh, and then he asked for 400% more dogs. The client decided to add a tilt-shift focus on the final image.

case study:
create a perfect beach scene

The client requested the addition of the cyclist and joggers to this beach scene, while using a more interesting shot of the three kids with the stick.

Respecting the details in the sand while overlaying "solid" people and gradient shadows required particular attention to detail.
